Lot 103             1910s German Handheld Fan
This handheld fan was produced in Germany sometime during the 1910s or early 1920s. It bears a D.R.G.M. mark. The side with the mark is uninteresting but the other side is sublime. Look at those battling cats atop a roof in some rural village. The blue, starry night sky is dominated by a kindly moon wearing glasses. The fan is held by a simple wood stick. The fan measures ~11” high by ~6.75” across.
