Lot 12                1908-1913 German Porcelain Medium Handled Tea Cup (BOOK ITEM)
The Germans produced a nice array of Halloween porcelain tea set items. Prices for this market segment have risen sharply. This is a medium handled tea cup. It measures ~1.75” high by ~2.5” in diameter. This is marked with the earlier of the two known marks used by Craemer and Heron, used only from 1908-1913. This cup has a bright, rich color. There is a small fleabite on the top rim. This is the very item photographed for my reference books. It appears on page 121 (UL) of the third edition. This entered the collection on June 17, 1995. The buyer will receive a handwritten note on my personal Halloween stationery attesting to this provenance.
