Lot 20                1950s Power House Candy Box
This exceedingly rare 1950s box once held forty Power House candy bars produced by the Walter M. Johnson Candy Company of Chicago and Bishop and Company of Los Angeles. The box measures ~8.5” high by ~5” across by ~2.25” deep. There are no split corners. A previous owner wrote “Pencils & Crayons” on the lid. There is evidence of said pencils and crayons on the inside of the box. I’ve seen many retail candy boxes but have never previously seen this box before.
