Lot 21 1920s Immense German Horn
Although I cannot find a maker’s mark on this horn I feel comfortable attributing it to the Germans. The horn is a whopping ~19.75” high. (Think about how tall that is for a moment.) It is easily one of the tallest vintage horns I have ever seen. The imagery on the paper-litho-over-cardboard horn includes such things as two cats singing to a JOL sitting between them as well as a JOL in a tree! The opening at the horn’s bottom measures ~3”. The photos show the horn with a brighter orange than is the reality. The horn is a dark orange color. It still makes a racket! (I deliberately used large photos for the first three images to underscore just how tall this horn actually is!)
