Lot 27                1950s Tin Litho JOL Candy Holder – Smallest Size
U.S. Metal Toy produced three sizes of their tin litho JOL candy holders. (Some end-users fashioned them as lanterns, but the original intent was to make a durable candy holder.) The smallest version, like this one, had graphics that differed from the other two sizes. Also, the smallest size almost never had a white plastic horn nose. (Please see page 57 for images of all three sizes.) This smallest sized version surfaces much less often than the other two sizes. It measures ~4” high by ~5” in diameter.
