Lot 35                  1950s Tin Litho JOL Candy Holder – Largest Size
U.S. Metal Toy produced three sizes of their tin litho JOL candy holders. (Some end-users somehow fashioned them as lanterns, but the original intent was to make a durable candy holder.) This is the largest size, measuring ~5.25” high by ~6.5” in diameter. (Please see page 57 for images of all three sizes.) The fully intact white plastic horn still makes noise. The bale is missing. A prior owner wrote his name on the bottom. (Thanks, Robert!)
