Lot 40                  1920s Medium-to-Large German JOL
This medium-to-large JOL was produced in Germany during the 1920s. It has a compo wash over cardboard construction. It looks never to have been used as the interior is near-pristine. The JOL measures ~5.25” high by ~6.75” across. The single-piece insert has a closed tear at the nose. Although I believe the insert is original, it can sometimes be difficult to be sure - so assume the insert is not original. The bale is present. On the original bottom written in pencil is information on a prior owner, who assumedly lived in Troy, NY. This is among the nicest such JOLs I’ve seen.
