Lot 41                  1930s German Witch Dancer
This witch dancer was produced in Germany during the early 1930s. As the old saying goes, the witch has a face only the mother could love! Prior to its acquisition, I had never seen this design before. There are condition issues. Although the face and hat are fully intact, and the hands and feet are extant, the honeycomb has been stretched and there is tape holding the honeycomb to many of the light cardboard surfaces. Photos will show this. The head measures ~6” high by ~6.25” across.
