Lot 65                1913-1916 Gibson Enveloped Set of 20 Bat Shape Cards
This is an exceedingly rare set of an early Gibson product. Later these would be called shapes then silhouettes, but at this stage of the game Gibson designated them as “shape cards.” The envelope measures ~3.25” high by ~3.5” across. The envelope is well-used. There are still fifteen bats extant. All but one are in near-mint or better condition.
