Lot 69                  1920s Unused Whitney Pop-Up Invitation
Whitney produced this deluxe pop-up invitation during the 1920s. These were expensive items back then, accounting for why collectors don’t see such items often available today. When they are seen, they are almost always used. This is one of the rare unused examples. The art is incredible. Just look at the wood grain detail of that gate with a JOL on one side and mushrooms on the other. The interior imagery is fun, too. This measures ~4.75” high by ~3.5” across, closed. There is some toning to places along the bottom.
