Lot 76                1922 Unused Dennison Tri-Fold Invitation w/ Witch (BOOK ITEM)
This unused trifold invitation of a stooped witch first appeared in Dennison’s 1922 Bogie Book. It was sold with stock number H82. It measures ~3.25” high by ~3.5” across, closed. Its original envelope is included. There is an area of interior toning at the smoke of the candle that is second from the left. This is the very item photographed for my reference books. It appears on page 261 of the third edition. This entered the collection on August 2, 2008. The buyer will receive a handwritten note on my personal Halloween stationery attesting to this provenance.
