Lot 77                  1950s Large Japanese JOL Diecut with Transparencies
This large JOL diecut was produced in Japan during the 1950s. It has transparencies for the eyes, nose and mouth. There is wear at the stem and at the bottom corners, with the lower right corner being held in place by tape. (Eek!) It measures ~12.5” high by ~14.5” across – so this is a sizable diecut. Prior to its acquisition, I had never seen it before. Look at those eyelashes! Tammy Faye has real competition with this diecut.
