Lot 82                  1914-1932 German Porcelain Waste Bowl with Face
The Germans produced a nice array of Halloween porcelain tea set items. Prices for this market segment have risen sharply. This is a waste bowl with a face! It measures ~1” high by ~2.25” in diameter. This is marked with the later of the two known marks used by Craemer and Heron, applied after 1913. This waste bowl has bright, rich color and is free from chips, cracks and repairs. The only defect is the pupil of one eye looks to have wear. The reality is that it is all under the glaze, meaning it was that way when it left Craemer and Heron.
