Lot 83                1920s Whitney Paper Doily
This scalloped doily design was produced by Whitney during the 1920s. It measures ~5.75” high by ~5.75” across. Whitney produced three scalloped doily designs. The outer ring colors were green, orange and yellow. (Check out page 282 to see examples of the first two.) The yellow doily is very tough to find. It seems that Whitney produced far fewer of the yellow and an abundance of the green.
