Lot 86                1930s Fibro Toy JOL-Headed Man Pulling Cart Candy Holder
This slot and tab candy holder was produced by the Dolly Toy Company under their brand extension they called Fibro Toy. I have never seen this design possess a maker’s mark. It is made from heavy cardboard. It is the hardest design by far to acquire of their three candy cart designs. Most of these haven’t survived the years well, but this example is in such great condition that I checked it against the one in the collection to ensure I retained the better example. It measures ~6.5” high by ~6.75” long by ~4” deep. The color is great.
