Lot 89                1940s Alberts Display Witch by Chimney Candy Holder
This candy holder was made by the Alberts Display and Novelty Company of New York sometime between 1941 and 1946 according to the last surviving son of the company’s founder. It shows a broomed witch with her familiar flying by a brick chimney. Made of rugged, heavy cardboard, the candy holder measures ~6” high by ~3.25” wide by ~7.25” long. There is minor wear to the very tip of the crone’s hat.
