Lot 97                1930s Hooded Cape
This charming, hooded cape seems to have been commercially produced for the Halloween season during the early 1930s. It is made from a lightweight cloth. There aren’t any tags or labels. Each side is a mirror image of the other. On each side is a central broomed witch, three bats and nine stars. There is a black border throughout. It measures ~28.25” high (from the top of the hood to the bottom of the cape) by~25” across (when the cape sides are closed together). I have never seen this item before.
